Faster remote access across the fleet

Our secure access relay has been relocated to London and upgraded, roughly halving round-trip latency for browser sessions. The browser screen share gains one-click sign-in, a one-click screen unlock, smoother scrolling and clipboard improvements, and the browser terminal adds output search with a larger scrollback.

Screen share in your browser

Every Mac dashboard now offers a full remote-desktop session directly in the browser, with zoom, clipboard and key controls. Nothing to install, signed in securely in one click. Ideal for quick checks; a dedicated VNC client over Tailscale remains the recommendation for everyday work.

New server room and network upgrade

The fleet has moved into a purpose-built server building with upgraded network, power and monitoring.

Fleet-wide device management

All machines are now enrolled in our self-hosted device management platform. It underpins secure remote maintenance, managed macOS updates, and verified data erasure whenever a machine is returned or recycled.

Terminal in your browser

A full SSH terminal for your machine, straight from the dashboard. No client setup, available from anywhere, with the same security model as every other connection: private networking, never the public internet.

Fully automated provisioning

New machines are now provisioned automatically at order time: operating system, software bundle and credentials prepared without manual steps, so most Macs are ready within the hour.

Storage add-on and fleet resilience

An external 1 TB SSD add-on is now available on any machine. Behind the scenes, every Mac gained automatic recovery from power interruptions, including scheduled daily power-on.

Network maintenance — brief connectivity loss for some new machinesResolved · 57m

During planned improvements to our on-site network on the evening of 11 August 2026, a small number of recently provisioned machines temporarily lost their network connection. The wider fleet and all established machines were unaffected, our internet service remained fully operational throughout, and no customer data was at risk. Connectivity was restored and every affected machine verified back online.

Monitoring fault (no machine downtime)Resolved · 58m

An update to our metrics service rejected valid heartbeat reports for about an hour, so our dashboards briefly showed much of the fleet as offline. Every machine remained online throughout — verified independently via network telemetry — and customer workloads were unaffected. The fault was fixed server-side and reporting resumed automatically.

Routine network upgradeResolved · 47m

A planned upgrade to our core network briefly interrupted fleet connectivity. Service was swiftly restored and every machine verified healthy.
